Hobart's History
Hobart's Bar & Steakhouse was founded by partners Ken Found and Frank Peters and opened in April 2000. The Hobart's story is original and draws on it's namesake Dr. Hobart F. Peters' passion for the best in beef cattle production which is reflected in Hobart's commitment to value, quality, taste and service excellence.
Renovated and expanded in 2009, the Original Hobart's Steakhouse delivers a warm and inviting atmosphere of contemporary finishes centered on an original antique bar built locally in the 1890's. An intimate but lively environment is enhanced by an ever growing collection of blues, jazz and soul music.
Hobart's guests are treated to exceptional food, atmosphere and service whether for lunch or dinner; with a special person or part of a group of friends or co-workers.
An October 2000 review closed with the statement " … an incredible find and worth the drive from almost anywhere." Ten years later it's better than ever.
