Enjoy Great Music at Take The Bite Out of Hunger Fundraiser

Help us fund Kawartha Lakes Food Source programmes for young people, families, and seniors in need. Simply plan to attend ‘Take A Bite Out Of Hunger’, a private evening of culinary treats and live music. “People think of Kawartha Lakes Food Source primarily as a supplier of packaged food items to area food banks, but our programming and needs extends beyond that necessity,” said Heather Kirby, General Manager.

The dinner event and fundraiser takes place this October 3 at Hobart’s Steakhouse in Lindsay. Get your tickets when they are available, because the event promises to be an enjoyable outing. Musician Bob May’s talents will compliment Chef Scott Hudson’s culinary expertise. Chef Hudson said, “As a business, we are pleased to help people in our community when we can.” 100% of all after cost proceeds will go to fund local food source programming, such as donor education, community outreach, and partnering initiatives.

Kirby said, “You can expect to learn a little, laugh a little, and smile a lot.”
She added, “We’re pleased to have the support of Hobart’s Steakhouse once again. They will supply the menu, venue, staff, and other support for the second year in a row.” The restaurant will be closed to regular dining reservations or walk-ins that evening to ensure a great experience for everyone.
